From the Book
Emersyn Sharpe doesn’t belong in our world.
In fact, the very last place she should be is with us. But someone is hurting her. We’ve all seen it. We tried to ignore the warning signs. We tried to trust the people around her. We tried to believe in her world.
Too late.
When she nearly died in front of us, we had to act. We took her. She doesn’t belong in our world, but I’ll be damned if someone lays a finger on her under my watch. I’ll kill them first.
Now that she’s here…I don’t know if I can let her leave. I’m Jasper Horan, anyone who tries to take her will have to go through me and my boys. You’ve been warned.
Themes
Reverse Harem/Poly Relationships: The story is all about Emersyn Sharpe and her interactions with several male characters.
Enemies-to-Lovers/Love-Hate: The romance is spicy, with lots of tension and fiery clashes between the characters.
Protection and Survival: A big part of the plot is about saving the heroine from a tough, abusive situation, focusing on her healing, safety, and personal growth.
82nd Street Vandals Series (This series must be read in chronological order)

My Review
The 82 Street Vandals series begins with a thrilling start! It's filled with all the elements for an exhilarating journey—mystery, danger, action, and plenty of romantic sparks. There's a cast of attractive leading men and a unique, strong heroine. Savage Vandal is just the beginning—it's mysterious, full of twists, and incredibly captivating. This series is dark and touches on potentially sensitive issues, but I loved it. From her first appearance, Emersyn Sharpe captured my heart with her unwavering strength. No one around her recognized the power she held on stage, and they all tried to take advantage of her. I enjoyed the personal conflict Emersyn experiences with the Vandals. The Vandals are so protective of her, even though I don't fully understand it yet. I'm loving the chemistry between Emersyn, Vaughn, Jasper, Kellan, and Doc. I'm eager to see how things develop between Emersyn and Rome, Liam, and Freddie as the series continues. If you're not a fan of cliffhangers, I suggest having the second book ready because you'll want to dive into it right after finishing this one. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys captive romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romance, new adult romances, reverse harems, or romantic suspense.
