Review
When I picked this book to read, I didn't realize that it was connected to other interconnected standalone books. I felt there was enough information that it didn't matter that I have not read the other books. This was a quick, intense read with Irish-mafia vibes. I really enjoyed the back and forth between Katy and Lachlan. Katy’s is young but she knows what she wants and she loves Lachlan for who he is. Lachlan is protective of her and will do anything to make sure she is safe. She is the only one that he shows his more sensitive side too. They fight will for their connection, protect one another, and push through anything that is thrown their way. The secondary characters where well written and the plot moved along nicely. Overall, this was a good book, but I don't know if I will continue with the other book, but maybe?
